Has anyone returned a defective item to a store ?

I was reading a review on for a 6X fixed powered rifle scope.  One of the user who gave a review only gave it one star.  He/she said "whenever I turn the dial to try and zoom in, the image got so blurry I couldn't see."

When I 1st saw the picture and read the reason for the return , I laughed so hard !

Unfortunately, there are a lot of stupid people out there and its only getting worse!
