TeeBugg
What tactics are you going to use tomorow if it rains? Just looking for some new ideas!
ghug92
Well considering its going to be warm and wet, I'd stay on the edges of fields. If you have a field thats surrounded by woods, even better. I'll be sitting on a field with pine groves down the center. I'll have two hen decoys out and will probably be using my mouth calls. Should be perfect for some running and gunning too cuz the leaves are damp
turkeyfeathers
Camo umbrella (best $15 ever spent) strapped over my head . Inside woods line about 25 yards over looking field.
wooly
If we're getting a real soaker when I wake up, I'll probably employ the "sleeping in tactic",lol. A light drizzle and I'll give it an honest effort and try to wait them out in an area they've been using. I've never had much luck calling in birds during a steady rain. Maybe I'll run my stand umbrella up to my stick blind this evening, just in case!
TeeBugg
I may pick up an umbrella tonight when i grab a new boxcall. Mine has gone missing! Probably setup on the edge of a small watering hole where they have been known to dust, not that they will be dusting tomorow but its right next to a power line cut that they seem to use alot.
