What to do

I'm going to my neighbors who I have permission from to hunt on his property. I'm gonna try and go over and call to some bird see if I can't here any in the roost. If I can't but know birds are in the area should I still set up there? Or try so we here else where I can get birds as near as possible?

Just being in the general area and hope your on the path he's going to take that morning. I roostes 2 lastnight woke up and was in woods at 430 ish this morning and they were gona already. The birds were real quiet in allegany county this morning till a pit 1130. Good luck budd

If you know they roost in an area, or they are seen by reliable source, by all means set up. On rainy days I've seen birds sit it a tree quiet for hours and fly down way late. 8 Am or later.

Went and set up around sun down. I'm in a good location I believe in a field with some pine trees in it. Hopefully I'll whack one with the stick and string in the morning
