thelep
Saw these broadheads in a magazine while I was waiting to get my hair cut. I've done some reading and all the reviews have been good, however I don't like to rely on reviews posted on a site trying to sell the product. I don't want to get into the Mechanical vs. Fixed argument but does anyone have any experience with these broadheads? If so I'd be interested to hear. Check out the link below too, it shows a make-shift penetration test. http://heavyhittersoutdoors.wordpress.com/2013/08/20/toxic-broadhead-penetration-test-review/
thphm
Fixed blade a + cut on contact other then that advertizing hype #1 70 pound bow, how many shoot a 50 to 70 lb. bow, # 2 shooting into plastic, it shatters at the back end, does a live animal shatter like that.Just my 2 cents. wooly
I haven't seen these heads in person, but from the advertisement pics, they look like they could be considered boarderline "barbed" with that wacky design.
Hookhunter20
My buddy uses them, the hole is impressive and put a gut shot doe down within 40 yds. As far as durability is concerned they're horrible from what I saw 2 misses into dirt resulted in bent blades and a snapped blade.
CPD1670
I used them last year, they leave a pretty impressive wound channel. Downside is that you can't shoot them into a target, as they tend to bend easily and are a pain to remove. I think they will be great on a crossbow.
