Quick update to answer some of the questions I've been getting offline, and assuming others may have the same question:

 

For the Charlie Alsheimer show in Eden on September 13th, the "Show Plus Meal" tickets were originally set so that they could not be purchased after today.  I was able to talk with the caterer, and we can extend another week for these, so the website was updated to allow purchases for the show plus the full meal through this coming Sunday.

 

This by far has been the most popular option, as the meal will be a quarter chicken, pulled pork sandwich, sides, drink, dessert, for only an extra $6.00.

 

The "show only" tickets will be available right up until show time on the 13th.

Items continue to come in for the give-aways as well.  The Mathews Drenalin was delivered a couple days ago and the muzzleloader will be here this coming week.  A number of other great give-aways came in as well as our special large auction item.  Of course, the main attraction is the talk and expertise by Charlie, but we're looking to give lots of gear away as well.  And, as always, don't forget something for the food pantry donation!

5 days to show time and things are really rolling!

 

"Show plus full meal" tickets still have a little room to sell more, and the caterer is being very flexible, so that we can still offer these tickets through this Wednesday, the 10th.

Just a couple of days away.  Heading up to Eden, NY to see some fellow hunters, hear about deer behavior and maybe even win something.  All controversy aside, it's that time of year when all big game hunters start getting the itch.  This is a great event to give it a little scratch.  Hope to see all my fellow sportsman there Saturday.

 

Thank you TrapperJohn for putting on this event and handling the comments with class.  It was good to see a respectful discussion for once.
