A gentle reminder for those of you that hunt migratory game birds, to sign up for the Harvest Information Program. Crow, woodcock, snipe,  brant, coot, rails, gallinule, sea ducks, ducks and geese. Make sure to carry the number on you, while a field. Failure to carry proof follows the same violation as hunting without a license.

 

I'm not sure if crows are included, but they do ask harvest reports on the questionair. Maybe someone could elaborate on this.

I better read up on that again...I thought it was only migratory water birds...didn't think crow or woodcock were on that.....I don't hunt woodcock but good to know...

Thanks land,  I don't think crows are included but woodcock for sure are.    Just checked, you are NOT required to register for crows:  http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/65847.html
