They sent me an E-mail "special sale" notification on No Plow 2# 9.96 buy 2 bags and get third free...6# 29.88....Well you go to regular site and there they are selling No Plow in 9# bags for...39.98

Always no matter how trusted the company....do the research on "great deals"

One of us is not doing the math right.

 

2# bag at 9.96 each. Buy 2 (4# total for $19.92) get 1 (another 2# free).

 

That's 6# for $19.92 - cost = $3.32/lb

 

 

The 9# bag on the regular site is $39.98 for 9# - cost = $4.44/lb

 

So the "special sale" is giving you a much better price (25% less) than the 9# bag on the website.

 

Am I misunderstanding?

 

 

BTW - what is "no plow?"

Ya..... but wrong is wrong i was wrong ...Just too many years of reading buy 2 get 1 free....stuck in my head...Lord Tops has buy 2 get 3 free all the time and I stand in the isle and read and re-read to make sure I got it right!!!...lol.....

 

Give them credit...I sent a e-mail to them and mentioned what happened and apologized...they sent one back and said not to worry on mistake... thanks for mentioning the special...lol
