seeing a lot deer

Been doing a lot of traveling and have noticed there is many deer on the edge of the highway. Seems to be more this year then in previous. Well this is getting me pumped up for the season and been doing a lot of bow shooting to be ready for a good year.

I think we are seeing more deer due to the coyote were killed off due to sickness such as Mange. I also am seeing more turkey and rabbits this year. Maybe the cycle for more of deer,rabbit and turkey will be on the upswing for the next 3 years or so.

Seeing plenty of deer this year, we've had three years like this but in the same three years the turkeys have dissapeared.  The locals here (CNY) say that a few years back the DEC released fishers to help control the coyote population and that seems to be working but the fishers are also wiping out the turkeys....DEC denies this though
