NFA-ADK
The easy way to know people out east. Other than that you knock on some doors, send out flyers, business cards or go to a local farm stand and introduce yourself. You can inquire at town hall about any deer management access for bow hunting. It's hard work but your efforts will pay off. Be polite, its their property and have every right to say no but a honest thank you will go very far. And access granted should be treated like its your own property, leave no trash or gut piles in the open. Dress nice and clean if you knock on doors, it helps. Ask if they would like a flyer in case they know someone or change their mind when they say no. Many people grant access when you say thank you for your time have a great day! Just not that day for some reason. Good luck, hope some of this helps.
First-light
My parents live out in Baiting Hollow. When I go I take Edwards ave north. There was a beagle club that had a 100 acres that was for sale for a while. Brother just told me the state bought it and now the DEC has two parking spots located there. Fresh new hunting property.
