Possibly the same Buck??

Do you think that the buck in the first picture is the same buck from the last year (the other two pictures)??

 

This is a buck that I am going to call "6 shooter" this year and he is somewhat high on the hit list.   I think he is a 3 1/2 year old. I believe that the deer in the 2nd and 3rd photo may be different deer but both 6 points as well from the 2013 season.  I think the deer in the 2nd photo is a 2 1/2.  If you disagree with the age guess, that is fine, I am not entirely sure.  Do you think this is the same deer compared to one of the other bucks in the other photos?? Also, how do you know?? I would like to know how to compare deer from year to year as that would be really cool.

 

We saw the 2 1/2 a lot last year and have been seeing 6 shooter a lot this year as well

Honestly, I think it's the same buck in pics 1&2 with pic 3 being a different buck. The shape of the rack is very similar, g3 on the left turns in on both and g2-g3 are forked on the right side. Good amount of growth in one year IMO.

Yea I think buck 2 and 3 are different as well.  The jump from 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 is quite amazing.  A lot can happen in that magical year.  The only thing that catches me on buck 3 is the slant of the brow times.  Very similar to the 3 1/2

I think all four are different and heres why,

Pic 1 This deer's rack is tall and tight, none of the others are.

Pic 2, Look at the brow tines in this pic

Pic 3, The brow tines are much larger,but they already stopped growing before pic #2.

Pic 4, This deer has a sagging belly, an obvious sign of a mature, older deer, which is not the case with #1, #2 or #3

How'd I do,better? I got a little sleep, not much, just a little.LOL

First 3 look like different deer.  The 4th pic looks like an older deer, could be the same as 1 but hard to tell with these pics.  Nice group good luck this year!

Yeah,1 and 2 antler are similar, could very be same,be nice to see him up close… with a bow in my hand.
