What are the advantages of a reverse draw vs. the traditional crossbow?

I've got the SLP 165 and I love it.  I'm not sure of the advantages over a traditional xbow, but it's fast and accurate and that's all that matters to me

NY State says: That's 17" between tip of limbs uncocked mind you, with 12 7/8" Sorpyd cocked, I'm pretty sure it would make 17" uncocked, I'm sure Archer can measure and let us know... quite pricey though....
