Gilliland440
I just got my video finished up from my hunt this fall and wanted to share it with you guys. I took my father out to western Alaska to see if we could get him his first moose at 72. He has received the conservationist award on the last few hunts but was saving karma points for this beauty! My buddy Owen and his father also joined us and Owen took his largest moose to date. It took 9 trips to get our gear and the 2 moose back to civilization. Enjoy!-JRhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdfx37M1xdY

Pygmy
Awesome bulls...Congrats to your Dad and Owen...The brow palms on your Dad's bull are incredible !! Where did you fly out of ? What unit did you hunt ? The video brings back fond memories...I did 5 Alaska hunts, one float and 4 unguided drops... My buddies and I never took any bulls like those monsters, though..Great job .. Unless you have done it, few people realize the work it takes to get a moose from the spot where you shot it to a place where an airplane or boat can get to it. Doc
The smiles tell it all. What a great hunt! Sure would like to read an "essay" version. There has to be a million details.
