jbone
I just sold my big, heavy API Grand Slam. In the market for another climber. My 3 choices are the Lone Wolf Hand Climber, Summit Open Shot, and the Summit Specialist. I don't like bars in front of me. I like the size of the Lone Wolf platform. Like the seat of the specialist and the price of the Open Shot. Decisions decisions. They are all within a couple of pounds of each other, the heaviest being 17 lbs. Going from the 27 lb API, either should be fine in weight. The Lone Wolf has the biggest platform, but weighs more and is WAY more expensive. deerpassion
I have the open shot n love it!!!! Thick cushioned seat sold me over the lone wolf ... No way I could sit all day on that thin seat! Edited October 26, 2014 by deerpassion

ididnotvoteforobama
I ordered the Open Shot from Cabela's, should be here in a few days. I have a bunch of climbers like your API , but I need a lightweight climber to be able to get to some remote areas. I like the Open Shot for the weight and the price is pretty attractive. Red
I love my open shot but tge back to the seat always seems to slide all the down the tree any tricks to prevent the seat from doing this
Four Season Whitetail's
I like to hunt fresh mature buck sign so i went with the Lone Wolf. Being a smaller guy helps with the smaller seat and light weight. It can go up in remote areas fast when new buck sign shows up.
