  3. Thank you sir... it goes like this .... this birds hammerin behind me 75yds in a cypress head opening morning this past Saturday ... little sweet talkin and here comes a hen soft yelpin... f@:;.... started going n back in forth with her to draw her in, but to late as he. Crosses my trail at 60 n strolls off with his girlfriend... went back that evening n rooster him about 200 yds from where he gave me the finger... Next morning , I bring my buddy who I got into duck hunting years back ... he's been trying to kill a bird ever since I moved up to buffalo in 2012... so I say hay we're killin this bird lets go... Super windy morning but he's hammerin again at everything I throw at em ... hits the ground and is slowly circling back towards the area we met the day before... we sneak over and set up... 10 minutes later here he comes all poofed up for his girlfriend again, but 100 yds on the other side of the slough... he still hammerin but it's so windy we can't hear him but we can see it... they work off to the left behind some cypress trees and I say... move it move it! We sneak along the edge up to the patch of cypress and I see his head through the moss that's hanging down n let one rip... he rolls and takes flight... my buddy n I raise up and BOOM at the same time as he helicoptered to the ground like a sky blasted duck !!! Sick hunt , gotta love these ol swamp chickens Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Good stuff man, always wanted to put a cam on some beds that I've found on swampy points with a few rubs around em, but couldn't quite delegate a cam too it until I'm well off enough to spend more on acquiring more to cover multiple properties adequately ... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

All good , never lost power, the eye just missed me by a mere 10-15 miles just northeast of me... got some good wind n a little rain but nothing like what the panhandle is getting now... few models project it circling back around for round two , hopefully not ! As for now, I have a bunch a hurricane beer to drink ... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Not great , no time to scout or set stands , pretty much goin in blind based on past ( 5 years ago) knowledge ... However, missed a nice buck in the middle of a big cypress strand last weekend cause I hit a vine that was 10 yds or so past the whole I had to shoot through , grrr... Now this!!! F me n my season Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. There in fact is a good routine to get in the habit of doing once before every season no matter what the quality of the grinder u have .. More powerful grinders will get by but u could get better performance out of it... The plate with whatever size holes and the cutting blade that rotates on the plate are not in most cases a flat match ... Once before every season I take 3 diff grits of sand paper and lay the wheel with the holes that will be against the blade flat on the paper n sand down through the three diff grit papers with a couple drops of water on the paper , and repeat with the blade to make sure they are a true fit throughout the rotation for the best cut and reducing bogging down from tough sinu and connective tissue... Your supposed to use a sharpy to cover the surface of each to reveal uneven spots as you sand , and when sharpy is gone you know it's level , but a couple minutes with each grit usually suffices .. Hope this helps n makes your grind that much easier n refined ... Joe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. My buggy.... 2 steel Pistons of Florida cracker muscle ... My view for the evening ... Had some young a-hole set up 100 yds from me, I whistled he waved , and he stayed , ahh such is life ... Little bastard ... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I've done it in the past with the kayak, but can't get too far, it fluctuates between water n dry trail , really a distance thing but need to buggy to handle the intermittent water holes n nasty trails .... Really hard to explain until ya see what we deal with Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
