I'm new to this forum, just curious on what everyone uses for lures? What works/ not works?

The best lure during the rut is a real live doe Franky. Put yourself along a doe travel route between feeding and bedding areas and you'll see bucks. Whether you get a shot or not depends on your skill at placing that stand.

Welcome aboard, great site, great people.  Many use doe in heat or buck urine.  Some use preorbital on licking branches/scrapes.  Others use a deer decoy.  Some make a drag on a rope with doe in heat scent dragged to the stand they are in. 

 

I don't use them but if I did I would make a mock scrape and try some buck pee with some doe in heat spread around the area.
