Venison empanadas

Damn pleased with these! They are really good fresh from the oil and I am planning on bringing them for tomorrow's lunch(full day sit to honor the vets!) to see how they fare at room temp/cool.

Recipe is below-I did some substituting- dried figs instead of dates, heavier on the allspice and cayenne pepper...sesame seeds instead of pumpkin seeds- whatever I had on hand).
