crappyice
Had two nice bucks (one a 6 , the other a pretty 8)hanging out together the other night. One absolutely shredded a tree as the other munched acorns. Whie they didn't get close enough for a shot, I was surprised to see how casual they were with each other at this point in the year. I was hoping to see them battle a bit and then walk into my lane- neither happened- would you take that as a sign that the ladies ain't ready yet? wooly
Not sure crappy, I'm kinda seeing just the opposite. I watched 16 doe and fawns out in a field tonight and not an antler in sight. I think I somehow missed it here myself.

Pugsley
I have been out this weekend in Dutchess. I had 1 buck chasing a doe. I had other bucks following doe. I had 2 bucks both big 8' together while one would head towards the doe. Once she ran he smelled the ground while the other 8 watched. Had no shot at either one. Than one went one way and the other went another. I think it's just starting. This week and next will be the rut here.
crappyice
Why can't they all just do what the magazines say they are supposed to be doing!
