warning : excalibur micro 335

Just read the specs for the new 2015 excalibur micro 335. It has a draw weight of 270 pounds. NYS regulations allow the use of crossbows between 100 - 200 pounds. So, before you purchase the new excalibur micro 335 be advised iT can only be used legally to target shoot.

You better throw a warning up for half the crossbows out there then!! Good heads up but from what I have seen doing research over half the crossbows out there are over the 200lb limit

I have ghost 410,one of the fastest bows and it only has a draw weight of 185lbs with a Powerstroke of about 16inches.

I don't own a Micro. That said when I researched I bought a Chaos by CamX. I challenge anyone to find a crossbow company that does it better.

I have the barnett raptor, it has a 150 pound pull and shoots bolts at about 330 fps. More than enough for a deer. No problems with it so far except the scope that came with it is not very good and needs to be replaced.

I can understand having a minimum weight but I don't understand why only a 200 pound limit? Guess that's what happens when people make laws about things they know nothing about!
