NYS Pistol Recertification

Have you checked on your NYS Pistol recertification ? Mine is due this December .

Yup. Did mine last month.  They are not going to remind anyone. So Stupid!

When I did mine , it left a notation that it would be due again December 5 , 2025 . 

I know someone who hasn't done a recertification since Day 1 . I wonder what will happen if he does one now ..........

My guess is they will take as many permits….. If it’s even legal… as they can from those that don’t recert. I think a person could fight that take if they had the $$$ means.  If I were them I would just do it but be ready for something stupid. Or this could just be a ploy to scare us and to get us legal type to step in line and give them all the info they want. After all it’s the legal pistol owner that takes all the bullshit in this Democratic ran state.
