airedale
After watching Shoots100's videos hunting with a thermal scope I could not stand it any longer and decided it was time for me to give one a try. Did not want to go overboard because for one thing I will not be using it a whole lot and I like to give it a try to see if I liked it. If I fall in love I may upgrade down the road. I wanted something for my Remington 597 22 mag, it is my go to rifle for varmints here on the farm and has always did it's job out to 150 yards or so. I looked over some entry level scopes and read a pile of reviews and decided on trying a RIX Storm S2, one step up from their entry level model, it should be just the ticket for what I am looking for. Mounted it up on the Remington and charged the battery, now I will wait until I get some good weather and get this rig sighted in. Shoots100
Great choice for a starter thermal scope, but if you think you'll be using it sparingly you're sadly mistaken. Next is a thermal spotter, as you spot 99% of the time and shoot 1%. Can't wait to see some video. SJC
