landtracdeerhunter
Sorry WNY BuckHunter for restarting this new thread. The other thread just got way out of hand. Could someone please post the link again, so some of us can carry on the conversation from where it got derailed. landtracdeerhunter
I see the interest most, but not all have in the adoption of laws in New York. They slammed the first knife laws through, about as quick as the S.A.F.E. act was passed and adopted. This one most likely will go through just as quick, with lawmakers in Albany, not having the ability to stand up to the correct issues that should be addressed. It;s not the weapons lawmakers; but it's people behind those weapons, for how they chose to use them for evil purposes. This is another piece of the 2nd amendment right being taken away from you, it's citizens. Most of you, don't even give a dam!

While this proposed law is ludicrous, it has nothing to so W/the 2nd amendment. A machete is a tool, not a self defense weapon. Yes, it can be used as an effective self defense weapon, but so can a baseball bat. That being said, banning one makes about as much sense as banning the other.
