maytom
Question that I have asked a few times on this very question now is this: Why doesn't the fall season in the southern zone start on October 1st like the rest of the state? That way we can get in a couple of weeks of turkey season in "before the bow season starts for deer ". I haven't got a good answer on this yet and feel that it should be changed. They (dec) claim it would over hunt them if the season started ealier, 2-3 weeks?????? There is no valid reason not to in my opinion. I Would like to hear other's opinions on this as well....thanks.
