zeus1gdsm
So after bribing the wife with a new 2in1 laptop after cashing out my meager 401k from my old job... I got clearance for a climber. Ordered: Summit titan Molle backpack straps 3rd hand stabilizers Summit bow holder 3rd hand gear hanger tree wrap Hunter safety syst. X1 bowhunter harness Bushnell Michael Waddell rangefinder. And some house crap. Anyone have experience with the his bowhunter harness? Seems legit to me. Fits with room for extra clothes. Do I need a carabiner for it? Or will my summit harness have what I need? The rangefinder. No angle adjustment. Is this a big deal? Is there a way to compensate for this? Thanks for all the help in deciding on a stand etc! nyslowhand
In a tree stand, a rangefinder with angle compensation is only useful if the target is less than 10-15yrds, Disclaimer is unless you're s/u on a ridgeline and shooting up or down hill. Find a website and plug-in some of the trig!

It would be a waste. And the difference would typically be less than a yard or 1/2 yard. Thanks! Glad I got the basic one. nyslowhand
^^ also should have noted, angle comp might be useful if you like to hunt in the tree tops, 20+' high in the stand.
The_Real_TCIII
Are you new to climbers? Stay connected on the way up and down, it adds only seconds to your time to move the tether
zeus1gdsm
Yes new to climber.... Safety is my number one concern. Hence.I bought and aftermarket harness and large platform climber..... I Dont expect to be going over 20. I'm not keen on Heights. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
