carloracer1987
What's y'Alls preference on using scent wicks and drag lines before November ? I had a small 4 pt come in last weekend right down the path I came in. And today I dragged it behind me as I spooked a mature buck heading out to set up. DirtTime
Many people been using them already. I don't see how it would hurt.
carloracer1987
I figured I'd give it a try, just didn't want to spook the Bucks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Five Seasons
Too early for me. Young bucks are dumb, you can get away with a lot that you cannot do to fool a mature deer of either sex Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Taylormike
Use them... However, I don't think you spooked the big buck because the drag line. I think he probably smelled you. They're smart! Keep using them...
carloracer1987
I should have implied that I was hiking in with my climber on, I deffinetly jumped him by no means did I intend to say the drag line spooked him. Poor wording on my part Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TreeGuy
Depending on rut activity I only use regular doe p or buck p instead of jumping the gun and going right for the doe in heat, and this time of year the young boys will be after any doe scent but the big boys seem to know the deal. I've had good luck with doe n heat late season only
