Andy 3F
The 12 gauge is like your multi tool of guns. Theres just so many different loads you can get you can go for all different types of game big or small. The new pumps are lightening fast. I run a winchester SXP and a H&R excell
MikeGee
Thanks so much, Bill! I've found a lot of support here on the forum. I'd LOVE to eventually go turkey hunting and use a bow. I see that down the line for me. I'd love a seminar! I'll check out that YouTube. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

That's the ultimate in getting a bird IMO. Getting a full draw with a bunch of sets of eyes all around you. Someday I'll buy a bow and try and accomplish this feat. My buddy has shotgun slam of turkeys (.410/28/20/16/12/10 gauge ) and real slam of all species. He then only hunted birds with his bow, and filmed everything himself. Now that takes talent. Not taking anything away from deer bowhunters who shoot a bird from their treestand but ground blind and a strutting spring bird entirely different situation. Good luck Mike in your hunting future .
