Non resident lifetime license

Looking into a non resident lifetime for my son. Possibilities are Maine, North Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia. I am thinking Georgia would be cool.... Anyone have any input? Only a few states offer this and often only for youth.

Sounds like a cool idea..great excuse to go on an out of state hunt when he gets older....I will be following this thread.

Maine, give the option of the most variety of animal including moose,and high bear population, the other are just whitetail and maybe some quail,

Tried comparing a few last night....looks like you still need to buy extra tags in Virginia... And for 200.00 in Georgia you are set for life with tags I believe...Georgia also has a big Hog population.

What does a Main lifetime cost for a child under 2?? I didn't have a chance to look yet

Wow...just looked...1200 for a lifetime license for non resident hunt, fish and archery....that is pretty steep investment not knowing if my son will ever even hunt.

Yea i figure for Georgia $200 you really can't go wrong. Even if he hunted one day I Georgia at that price its worth it.

Definitely....worth it even for a one time trip...I have have down there too that's what peaked my interest... I was looking last night and there are alot of deer/hog combo hunts very reasonable
