Cespedes Returns To The Mets

The Mets signed Cespedes , who actually took ​less money for a change than what the Nats offered. Considering the National League might have the DH rule in 2017 , this appears to be a good move for the Mets. Even with the moves the Cubs made , I would think the Mets are the favorite to win the NL. Lets Go Mets !

 What a contract ...... $75 million. For 2016, Cespedes will reportedly make $27.5 million. The opt-out, of course, would allow him to re-enter the free agent market next offseason, when the crop of available free agents will be much thinner.
