Big cats are incredibly prolific on their own give a prey source and room to expand.

Its the room that is the issue for much of Africa's wildlife.

Well, if I was mating every 15 minutes, with a harem to choose from, I'd be pretty prolific as well. There's a reason they are called the "king" of the jungle.
