Callicoon information

Does anyone know how the hunting is in callicoon? I am going to look at a property there on Saturday, a few family members have all been talking about throwing in on a place, I figure I could use it as a 2nd hunting property I was curious if anyone has any info on the area

I'm right in Cochecton, right down the road.  I love the area.  Check out Rod's Taxidermy in Callicoon, it will give you a solid idea of what kind of deer are around   He does good work btw.

I've been pheasant hunting in Long Eddy before. And have gone to Callicoon to hang out. It's a nice little place. I can't comment on the deer hunting but there are plenty of woods up there. Good luck.
