No we didn't catch a ton of fish. Been a slow start to the season. Only 2 salmon (1 King and 1 coho) both less than 10lbs. Got a late start too. But weather was perfect and I really enjoy the time with Dad. It's well worth playing hooky from work now and then. Figured out how to run 4 dipsy divers without tangles so that was good too.

Nice! I haven't fished the "Big O" in 15+ years. Must be nice having that amazing fishery nearby. I have to bust my ass rowing (no motors) allowed to troll or fish live bait to hope to catch some browns and lakers lol.

I am really spoiled Biz. Literally 4min drive from my house to the marina for world class cold water fishing.

Western ny has has an amazing selection of fishing spots. If the OP is anything like me ,even a bad day of fishing or hunting is still worth it when pops is around to share it with.

Yea, I would definitely buy a boat if I lived that close. Probably would take the guiding class and get licenced too!
