that's because the SW states are suing the feds over grey wolf introduction that could ruin red wolf restoration areas....now the feds say you aint got red wolves there be only one wolf...OUR WOLF, now sit down and shut up we are introducing predators everywhere we want.

Well using dna to seperate species.. human dna is 99% same as chimpanze 1 % seperates us. But I would say we are different species. 

Red wolf 25 gray and 75% coyote..

Eastern grey 50 gray and 50 coyote... 

I'll stick with them as seperate species..
