...only to be largely ignored by the media because she happens to be very pro second amendment. This is a great story about a tough and determined gal who's won medals in six consecutive Olympics (something never before accomplished) despite enormous personal hardships. Thank you, Ms Rhode!

I have a good friend who's literally a world-class skeet shooter. He's been in competition in many different countries over the last thirty+ years. The mental toughness, the stamina, and the sheer dedication required to compete at the Olympic level for a single year is something that even he acknowledges most people simply don't have, and he readily puts himself in that camp. Ms Rhode has done it for six consecutive events. I certainly wouldn't want to be a grouse popping up in front of her.
