G-Man
Well from the shadows from the pine it looks like your fingers point south, very nice for letting light in although the pines will shade it early and late. Are there other properties off the private road if so you might want to plant a barrier off the road to hide the deer that will be exposed to road hunting(it does happen a lot mor ethan what people think).Although the field will still have a southern exposure allowing suffient light for what ever you decide to plant. I have an exposed field and actually pilled logs 6' high to block it off after several springs of finding spent shell casings melt out of the snow banks. Single_shot
Too quick reply to both, the fingers point south/south west. There better not be any road hunting on this road....I own it, (not a right of way). Dual gated private road. Like Mr.T once said..."I pitty tha foo". Only land owners beyond me are (allowed) don't want it to sound that way, geez sorry, really ...maybe permitted sounds more better? (sorry to any owners beyond me,my deepest apology) to enter. Before me is all private (about 50ac that I and 1 other, have written permission(ask me) to hunt. We are close to 1/2 mile from main road. Not really far...but far enough. The bigger fields, are about 95% full sun though. The fingers do not get full sun...to guess I would say noon to early/late sun.
