Qad question

This is my first year with a qad rest and will pushing the rest down to take my arrow off at the end of the hunt cause damage to the rest

Don't push it down! On the right side,  part of the rest sticks down . Flick this part downward/forward  and the rest will drop.. I push the lever with my thumb and let it slip off this does the trick.

Yikes I wouldn't push down... there's a triggering the right side. Flick it back and let it go. It will shoot down
