Scent Question

Hunting in Foothils of Adks , would you bother using scents to attract bucks or possibly spooking them OR just use cover scents to hide you and have the element of surprise in your favor ???

I would avoid all scents.  Hunt the wind.  Good luck!

I would hunt the wind and use attractant scent. I have had my best luck with scents in the ADKS.

Thanks Guys , trying to get my pop a buck , may be his last year , bodies failing can't really walk much . Anything in particular ??? Doe estrus , buck gland or curiosity scent

I have never been a big scent guy because I almost never sit but the few times I have used it up north it was 3 out of 4. Never a big buck and always in area that I knew their was bucks. When I used it I bought what was on sale and used a lot of it, like the whole bottle for the day. I'm sure there are guys on hear that use it and can give way better advice than me on the stuff.
