New York Hillbilly
Thanks for the tip on the CVA Wolf. I picked one up last week after swearing to not monkey around with muzzle loaders anymore. I had miserable times with my past rifles trying to get them on target, and cleaning was a nightmare. The Wolf I find extremely easy to clean and service with it's break open design. Also, after I was unable to purchase Triple 7 50/50, I had to decide either to switch up to 120 grains or down to 90 grains, and bought both 50/30 and 50/60 Triple 7. Ultimately, I opted to switch up to 120 grains. Although the Powerbelt bullets don't seem to get much positive review here, it is what I had already purchased so I went with them. 120 grains, 50 caliber Powerbelt 245 grain hollow points, with three shots at 75 yards because I won't go beyond that distance where I will be hunting. First two shots high, adjust down 12 clicks and third shot is dead center. Happy!
