4H 4B Pheasants

Has anyone had success on or around these Pheasant release sites?

Went on permit day only at Golden Hill State Park this past fall and didn't see 1 bird. There was only 1 shot that morning and that was it. And the birds were released the previous day. I don't know how many were released, but it wasn't many I'm sure of. And I always see a fox running thru there, so they probably got a few of the birds for a snack.

In 4-H Partridge Run and Martha Burke get some birds. But they are scattered quickly and the fox and coyote's get their share. That being said, I've seen pheasants in both places. Good luck, if you head up this way.

I live in Colonie, so I will take a chance and head out this weekend.  Probably too late right now.... but ya never know.
