What I mean is.... When there is a presidential change over... Isn't there alway reappointments for various positions? And even more so if another party is taking over?

Seems the media is just blowing up everything trump does... Even things that Obama did and they never said boo about.

Or maybe I'm wrong and he really is going above and beyond? Hopefully someone with more than 3 presidencies in their life can chime in?

You've actually answered your own question with your second post. President Trump is not playing by the rules the elites in either party, the elites in the media, or the elites on Wall Street and their lobbyists have laid out. Trump is not a 'normal' politician willing to follow the normal rules. This has them freaked out.

To directly answer your question, this is not merely a party change. This is a complete disruption of 'business as usual' to the people who's entire existence depends on that 'business as usual'. There are trillions of dollars at stake for these people, and they're not going to give up easily.
