DEC may have an issue...

So years ago when I started growing sunn hemp I told you I called the sheriff's Dept first..yep every one laughed...Then last year low and behold Wht. Tail institute switched out sunflower for hemp in their "screen" plot mix power plant. Well our son calls the DEC today and they tell him it's illegal. That you need a state permit and only 5 are given out  a year to colleges and research places..looks like a call goes out Monday...So this would make growing any commercial seed mix containing sunn hemp illegal in NYS.

Have to tell you they were pretty adamant about the growing of fiber hemp being absolutely  illegal. This makes me laugh because I called them before letting t e sheriffs dept.  know.  It was Ok according to the guy I talked to . Be cause it was for at purposes and not considered a drug plant. Region 8 color me all sorts of surprised LOL. Any ways no pass and a lot of law breakers in NYS...Hhhmmmm reminds me of something.....Oh that's right the registration thingy you gun guys had...lol
