Knight Rifles are back

Hey I'm new to this site, but in case anyone hasn't realized, Knight Rifles are back in business.  Their new stuff looks a lot like their old rifles, but that's okay because they were solid rifles to begin with.  I've been using a Big Horn Magnum since 1996.  I have no desire to hunt with any other inline.

I new they were back as of this year,I wonder if Tony Knight has any part in the company..I know a bunch of investors showed interest awhile back.If I were to buy a knight today it  would be that Mountaineer.

I was looking at the Mountaineer, that is a really nice rifle.  I hope they stay in business this time for good.  I don't know if Tony is still there.

Knight Rifles Back In Production

Knight Rifles is pleased to announce their return to making muzzleloaders.

In 1985, Knight Rifles pioneered the modern inline muzzleloader. Today, Knight Rifles is proud to announce they will continue in the tradition of muzzleloader hunting.

Knight Rifles launched its 2011 gun lineup on their website (www.knightrifles.com) this past week. These will be the first rifles to be manufactured under the new ownership of P.I. Inc., located in Athens, Tennesseelace. Rifle production will be in Athens, while warranty and gunsmith work will be done in the Centerville, Iowa location.

With this launch Knight announces a brand new rifle, the "Mountaineer".

This rifle has been in the works since before Knight was acquired last March.Brand manager, Gordy Edwards says, "I believe this rifles performance will surpass even the best of rifles manufactured in the past, with the unique ignition system built around the use of Blackhorn 209 powder, we are very excited about it."

"We've already received great feedback and anticipation from customers who haven't been able to purchase a Knight for the past 2 years'" says Sam Brocato, sales manager.

Knight Rifles plans to begin production in February with shipments beginning in May.

He seems to be a local celebraty with the TN hunting crowd.

I called about a 209 kit for my old Big Horn, he was the guy on the other end of the phone.  Since then I called to talk to him about powders, pellets and bullets.  He's a great guy.

A while back I had started a Knight thread and it had to be removed because some people could not play nice I guess. Let's try to keep this one here ok? I recently mailed Knight for information because I need work done on a safety for my KP-1. This is information for anyone that has the "older" Knights and needs any repair work,information etc.

INteresting what was teh issue?

I sent my triger assy. to Pat recently because the safe lever had broken while bench shooting. I called him,he was the person on the other end of the phone.......this amazed me. Usually someone answers the calls or a machine answers. I spoke with Pat,who BTW seemed to be a real nice down to earth fella.He gave me the address to send my trigger group and off in the mail it went via USPS flat rate priority mail. In 2 weeks it was delivered back to me via USPS flat rate priority mail, repaired,no bill and me happy as a camper. Kudos to Pat Fitzgerald and Knight for the fine sevice I recieved.
