Deerthug Posted September 17, 2017 Share Posted September 17, 2017 So today is the first time I'm using my new smoker.... prepped two racks of pork ribs and what was left of some venison ribs and chops yesterday. I made my own rub mix and let sit 24 hours. Looking forward to tender ribs and chops this evening...... Deerthug Posted September 17, 2017 Author Share Posted September 17, 2017 I bought a Chefmate at Field and Stream two weeks ago for $499. Sorry dinner has come and gone. The pork ribs fell off the bone but the venison ribs were a bit tough. Next time I need to wrap them in aluminum for the last 2 hours to keep them moist and tender.
