MPHunter
Who remembers the October 4th '87 snowstorm? Today is the 30th anniversary. Freak noreaster was supposed to just be rain but just cold enough for snow. Woke up here in Albany with about 6" of heavy wet snow. Got a lot more to south and east. Not a lot by noreaster standards but with all leaves still on trees, knocked out power all over for days. Weeks in some areas. Didn't have power at my house for a week. mowin
I remember it well. Our area was hit hard 24+" of snow. Trees down all over the place. Gave a trooper a ride up route 20 on my 4wheeler because he couldn't get his cruiser to a serious accident. Our power was out for 9 days, but my brothers was out for 13.
