I've been told that you need a saltwater license now for saltwater fishing so when I bought my fishing license a month ago, the agent asked me if I wanted to buy both (freshwater and saltwater) and I said sure.

This weekend, I went with my brother to get his and they told him that as of April 1st, a license is no longer required for salt water fishing.  WTF?

It's just $10 so I'm not going to complain but somebody needs to get their story straight.  Do we need a salt water license or not?
