12/13: dad didn’t hunt

12/14: dad hunted dark to dark and saw 1 deer midday in some thick brush. Couldn’t make out the head.

I would be hitting the woods, but I understand where you are coming from. I froze my butt off again this morning to see nothing, not even a tree rat. I only have one more day out, either tomorrow or Sunday, have to shift some dumb holiday crap around to which day. Either way, I will go freeze and use a chisel to free my chestnuts from the tree stumps one last time.

12/15-12/16: dad didn’t hunt in bad weather

12/17: dad hunted dark to dark. He saw a spike at 715am at 50yds, then 5 does/fawns around 11am and then 2 does just before sunset.

12/18: Dad hunted dark to dark and saw nothing. He said the cam where I hunted 12/9 afternoon had a nice 6pt at 620pm. Guess he came 2 hours too late for me.
