Spring Foliage....

Hey Guys,

Just wondering what it looks like in Central NY as far as the spring green up.

Does its still look like winter or is there color starting to show?

I am in Steuben County, right along the PA border...Haven't been in central, NY, but it has been a long, hard winter and a late spring, so I doubt that they they are ahead of us up there...

Around here, lawns are just starting to green up..The woods look pretty much like winter...

Last year, by the first of May, the foiliage was like mid month, and by mid-May, it was almost like summer...Big difference this year..

fields are greening the elderberry have popped and the honey suckle brush have budded out....May flowers are just showing and the leeks have the woods green...as well as some wild flowers...I see a favorite right now for deer are the leek greens????surprised me...must be for the nutrients and possible wormer for them?? I know the pine does that as well
