Vermont Legislature Passes Sweeping Gun Restrictions

I did not see any school security measures enacted, just more useless gun control laws as always.

So will raising the age to purchase a long gun to 21 years old make schools safer OR mandating all schools have an armed guard, provide all staff with panic buttons to immediately alert the armed guard and local law enforcement immediately, harden entry points for schools and installing barricades around school bus areas to prevent hundreds of children from becoming standing targets for a motor vehicle turned into a weapon?

Insanity Is Doing the Same Thing Over and Over Again and Expecting Different Results.  More gun control is insanity.

So what are you doing about it? Are you organizing pro gun protests? Are you calling your local legislators? Are you stepping away the the device to make a stand? Or are you just spouting off? No one likes these attacks, but most of us don't make it our day to day to focus on tragedy or politics on a HUNTING FORUM!

How do you feel about these issues:

When you consider Vermont is a state steep in hunting heritage, besides having probably the lowest crime rate in the country and the most permissive gun laws in the country, I see no reason this post shouldn't be in this forum, especially in a Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions thread.

I was unaware of this development until I saw this and I believe it should be a warning to others who live in a state where they believe it can't happen.

As residents of NY State, I don't see where we can do much about what Vermont's elected hacks do in their quest to get re-elected.  But it does help motivate others to become more supportive of gun rights and organizations that fight for their gun rights.
