Bear and deer gun season may soon open on the same day

Saw an article today in the paper the DEC was trying to get Bear and Deer to open on the same day as well as opening it in a few more areas. Still don't know if I would shoot a bear or not.

That the way it use to be in the 60's, I think it opened in the catskill for opening day of gun...I think the DEC need to to use the kiss way of doing business ( Keep it simple stupid )

Glad they are doing it, 5 years ago if you saw a bear around here it was special. Now they are everywhere!!! Hopfully this will knock down the population a bit since a spring hunt is out of the question... As for shooting them 5 years ago i wouldn't of, but after having 4 3-d archery targets destroyed, grill knocked over, treestand seats eaten i'll shoot one every chance i get and the people that hunt my property have the same mandate..kill on sight!!!!
