Weather radios

[First-light]

Guys,

So this storm on Sunday was predicted and my radio did its thing up until the real intense storm hit. I lost the signal for about 45 minutes. Is this typical of the weather radios?

The alarms worked great and the National weather service was dead on with the timing. Any experienced out there?

We got hit yesterday in Otsego County. Had my radio on and could hear the reports, but I had a ton of static from all the lighting. It is common.

they are great if you are in a area that gets reports. I am outside Oneonta and get zip. But have the direct TV that will give report of weather concerns.
