dbHunterNY Posted June 15, 2018 Share Posted June 15, 2018 good advice already given; tuned bow, heavier arrow, vibration whatever on limbs, newer string (string material also makes a difference), maintained/waxed string, and making sure no parts are rattling (i.e. quiver, bolts, screws, etc.). i can only think of a couple others right now. drop-away rest height or brakeless design that'd allow the arrow holder fork to slap the arrow shelf is one. another is some bows depending on limb pockets and riser design benefit from vibration dampening bands whatever brand you like installed toward the ends of the riser (top and bottom). other thing is the type of vanes or feathers your shooting, including how much of an offset or helical they have. more surface area or angled the vanes are on the arrow shaft the more noise they'll have when moving through the air.
