Spey rod

Anybody else fish a spey rod ? Got into it this past spring it's a hoot for steelehead. Actually I have an intermediate   fly rod as it's not a spey rod but also not a single hander .

I have a switch rod for when I salmon and steelhead fish, but I never use it for its intended purpose. I usually do the chuck and duck meathod. Ive always wanted to try it though, so maybe one day I will.

There is a spey rod thing in pulaski this Saturday.  I'm going to go check it out  .  Yup switch rod that's it .  Love it when that fresh steelehead  smacks  a fly hard enough to almost take the rod out of your hand .
